To tell the truth, I find it hard to understand just why anyone wouldn't desire to benefit themselves. You've complete control over everything. You decide on everything you do, when and the manner in which you do it. And more to the point than other things, it offers you freedom.
What I mean by this is that, if you need or want to do something, something with your kids for example. Then you definitely can. This happened in my experience right before my Grandfather passed away. My Grandfather lived in England, and I reside in Australia. I received a phone to state that he had been taken into hospital and was very poorly. They weren't sure the length of time he'd left.
Because I work for myself, I was organise my business and then get straight on a flight to the UK a day or two later. If I worked for another person, I quite definitely doubt I would've had the oppertunity to take 2 weeks off work with more or less no notice. And to be honest, I probably wouldn't have now been in a position to afford to complete it anyway.
That leads me to some other advantageous asset of owning your own business. Why work your ass off to line someone else's pockets, whilst you get hold of a tiny percentage of that in the proper execution of a wage. I am aware some individuals have high-powered jobs and earn a great living. But I guarantee their boss earns more. If you own the business you then make the money. Although, this is also a down side to this to starting your own business:
DON'T EXPECT TO GET RICH QUICK.
It takes a lot of effort and quite a long time to make any decent sum of money from your own personal business. But it's worth it.
Apart from the fact I had no control. I had to work specific hours that I was told to. I couldn't be late. I had to set up my entire life around could work, not one other way round.
However the worst thing for me, had been spoken down to. I see that bosses rarely speak to their staff as an equal. This for me is something I haven't had the opportunity to deal with.
Even at school, I couldn't be spoken business plan template down to. Which is why I didn't do perfectly and got kicked out of class constantly for answering back. In fact I didn't really prosper academically until I visited college and University, where the lecturers would speak if you ask me with equal respect. Consequently I then achieved my law degree, in addition to a lot of other qualifications.
The most important reason to start your personal business:
Simply the biggest and most critical reason that as a Mom, you should start your personal business, can be your children.
Don't get me wrong. You don't necessarily work LESS hours once you own your own personal business. Actually, to begin with at the least, you will likely work more. But you are able to arrange work around your family. You are able to work when the kids are at school, at friends or in bed. It is simple to take days off to have days out together with your children. And you don't need to get someone else's permission to have a family holiday.
Needless to say this depends on which kind of business you begin, and at what stage it's at.
Like, if you determine to open a store and in the first place it is just you working there. You will need to work certain hours and you will struggle to take days or weeks off. At least and soon you are ready to have cover whilst you're away.
But, once your business is developed to the point where you've employees of your personal to perform things whilst you're away. Or when you yourself have a business that enables for flexible hours. Then you can fully take advantage of that advantage of employed by yourself.
I honestly rely on Mom's owning their own businesses. I began this website in the very first place because I need mothers to appreciate, not only that they CAN start their own businesses. But that their life could be better as a result of it.
